Where do you get Great Dragon Armor?[]
Great Dragon Armor can be obtained from Anthropus Camps level 5 and higher. There are a total of four pieces that you will need to obtain, the Dragon Helmet, the Dragon Claw Guards, the Dragon Body Armor and the Dragon Tail Guard then you have the complete set. Your Great Dragon does not wear any of this armor until you have found the complete set. When you have the complete set, you are allowed to research Aerial Combat in your Science Center and allow your dragons to attack along with your troops.
What Is The Quickest Way to Get Great Dragon Armor?[]
A common tactic used to get the armor is to use "wave" attacks. This involves attacking the target wilderness with an army sufficient to kill all inhabiting anthropos, and timing attacks (usually of one SSD or Spy or 1 longbowman ) to land AFTER your first attack and BEFORE the anthropos respawn. The first attack uses 6k LBM followed by 1K LBM. It is necessary for this tactic to work, to sent an adequate second wave. If the second wave is big enough every other attack needs just one unit. Side Note: If you're going to use this method with lbm make sure you have at the least Level 6 weapon Calibration, Lvl 6 Metallurgy, and Lvl 5+ Medicine. Otherwise there is about a 20-35% chance the 2nd wave will not win the battle.
How many camps do I have to hit before I get all of the pieces?[]
The actual drop rates of the Great Dragon Armor pieces are not difficult to find at all, I found all four of my pieces from level 5 camps. I spent about three hours using the above method and found all of the Great Dragon Armor. It would take you approximately 2-3 days of game time to get your Great Dragon Armor. However, this is just an estimation and you could get all four pieces on your first four attacks or take much longer to find all of your pieces.
